Peggy Kilburn

From the perspective of a conference director who has managed more than 10,000 speakers – John Bates is in my Top Ten Favorites, and for a number of reasons. I can *completely* depend on him to deliver an outstanding engagement, whether in a workshop, a plenary session, or a coaching circle. His audiences are always delighted with his insights (in fact, several people are repeat attendees at his sessions). The feedback from his attendees is not just uniformly positive, but uniformly 5 stars. Speakers of this caliber often let it go to their heads, becoming overly demanding and difficult for the conference director to deal with. Not so John Bates. He is ever a gentleman, a scholar, a complete professional, and a joy to work with.
