What is the Power of your Origin Story? How do you Harness it?

Everyone has several Origin Stories, but how do you harness it? Over the years I have crafted many and use two or three, regularly. Last time I talked about how to choose the right topic for your speech. Today I want to support you in choosing the “right” Origin Story. Taking into account your audience and your objective it’s likely that one Origin Story will stand out as being the most useful. Think about the situation when you’re trying to move people to action, to create meaningful bonds and connections, and choose your most relevant story.

Finally, if your brain and your gut are at odds, go with your gut! When you do that, and then focus in and craft that story with your full self then the one you choose will end up being the “right one.” So go harness that!
