Be Present and be Positive – We Don‘t Process Negatives like Don’t! 💥

Do you believe that a positive mindset brings positive things?

I believe that our WORDS are what create our WORLDS! So, the words we choose really matter… a lot.

Recently one of my heroes, Fiona Murden joined me on my PODCAST.  She studies the brain and cognition. She talked about the fact that as much as 90% of what we do is being run by our subconscious.

That means we don’t have a lot of conscious control over what we do or say! So, it’s important to use our consciousness to feed our subconscious, with positive, rather than negative inputs!

I’ve noticed in all kinds of communication — convention speeches, marketing conferences and marketing, conversations with friends and family — wherein people are setting the subconscious up for failure because the subconscious does NOT understand NOT! The subconscious misses the negation.

That’s why Mother Theresa said: “Don’t invite me to an anti-war rally… I won’t come. But, if you invite me to a peace rally I’ll be there every time!”

“Do not do that” translates to “do that” in the subconscious mind. “Don’t make a mess” translates to “make a mess.”

To set up the subconscious for success – yours, your colleagues, your audience or your family, be positive in everything you say!

Let your unique awesomeness and positive energy inspire confidence in others!

As alway, if you have questions for me just hit reply and let me know!
